POWERply® APP Base Sheet

A Fiberglass Reinforced APP Modified Bitumen Base Sheet

The POWERply APP Base Sheet is designed for use in multi-ply cold-applied and hot-applied applications where a fiberglass reinforced base sheet is desired; it may also be used as a backing sheet in flashing installations.

Composition:

The asbestos-free POWERply APP Base Sheet is an APP modified bitumen base sheet.  It is composed of specially selected asphalt, modified with a blend of APP polymers, and reinforced with a tough fiberglass mat.  The top and bottom of the sheet is surfaced with a light layer of sand. POWERply APP Base Sheet exceeds the performance requirements of ASTM D 6509-00.
