POWERply® 2PM

POWERply 2PM is a smooth surfaced, asbestos-free modified bitumen membrane that consists of specially selected bitumen, modified with compatible SBS elastomers and reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat. Developed for use in Canada, it can be used in hot or cold applied modified bitumen systems that require a polyester reinforced membrane. The SBS modified bitumen accommodates live load stress and thermal cycling, while the reinforcement helps provide excellent durability and fatigue resistance to both thermal shock and mechanical damage. The thickness of each POWERply 2PM membrane, precisely controlled at our factory, ensures uniform protection throughout the roof. Hot applied POWERply 2PM membranes do not require the use of torches, which reduces the risk of fire and membrane degradation.
