Tremco SP Primer is a coating primer prepared from a blend of acrylic polymers and adhesion promoters. Tremco SP Primer is asbestos free and meets the requirements of the National Architectural Coatings regulation and Rule 1113 of the Los Angeles SCAQMD as a roof coatings primer. Tremco SP Primer improves adhesion of acrylic coatings when applied to single ply membranes such as EPDM, PVC, PIB and Hypalon. Tremco SP Primer is also used to prime Tremlastic SP prior to the application of acrylic latex coatings such as Polarcote FR. Tremco SP Primer is also used as a primer for metal surfaces prior to the application of TremFAST PIB lap seam tape.
