Tremfix® is composed of coal-tar pitch, reinforcing fibers, and plasticizers blended for year-round roof repair. Tremfix is asbestos free. Tremfix meets ASTM D5643, the Standard Specification for Asbestos Free Coal Tar Roof Cement. Tremfix is used for general repairs on coal-tar roofs, including breaks and blisters. Tremfix can be used effectively for emergency repairs on wet roof surfaces of both asphalt and coal-tar BUR. Added strength can be obtained by using reinforcing membranes
