Kinetic GPO is a nationwide cooperative purchasing network reflecting the buying power of public agency members across Canada. Kinetic GPO provides a robust portfolio of cooperative contracts that were publicly awarded and competitively solicited. All Kinetic contracts are awarded using a competitive solicitation process consistent with Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and other international trade agreements, including the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), as well as the Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement Directive.

Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) like Kinetic are widely used in Canada, especially in the medical health and education sectors.

What can be done under WTC’s Contract?

All aspects of roofing and building envelope work are included in the contract. Roof types may include, but are not limited to built up, modified bitumen, single ply, liquid‐applied, sheet metal and composition shingle. Additional products and services may include sustainable roofing systems, leak response, disaster response, repair/maintenance/restoration services, construction services, rooftop safety solutions, Prebuck products and Nudura Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs), Willseal sealants and flooring.

Through the contract, you can choose to procure solutions three ways:

Full turnkey labour and material solutions with project oversight by WTC General Contracting.
- This is a labour and material solution
- WTC is the prime contractor and assumes all risk
- Utilizes best-in-class local subcontractors
- Delivers the highest level of control over all aspects of your project
- Includes project management and onsite supervision
Work with a local approved contractor through the Canadian Cooperative Contractor Network (CCCN). The Canadian Cooperative Contractor Network provides contractors a unique and compliant method to deliver services directly to public agencies through our competitively procured and awarded contract.
- This is a labour and material solution
- Your preferred In-Network Contractor is the prime contractor
- Gives you the ability to select best-in-class local contractors to propose work under the contract
- Reduces risk of low bid project quality issues
- Tremco administers the program
Material Only Solution
- No labour component; labour bid by public entity
- Similar to traditional bid process
- Dependent on low bid labour

Through WTC’s Kinetic contract, Tremco CPG offers two value added services:

The Design Professional Network offers Kinetic GPO Members the ability to engage highly qualified local and regional best-in-class design professionals who have been pre-qualified and evaluated on performance, compliance, and demonstrated competency. This provides a seamless process for Kinetic GPO Members who need to confidently source a design professional for pre-construction activities and move swiftly into the construction phase. Design professionals consist of structural/ mechanical/electrical engineers, architects, and roof consultants.
QCsolver is a cloud-based software we use to manage the qualifications and compliance of contractors in Canada. It is a repository for the documentation needed for submittals, housed in one place and reviewed by an independent third party. There is no cost to use this tool. It’s a value-add to the high-calibre service Tremco CPG and WTC already provide.
