The Tremco AVC Max Membrane is a SBS modified asphalt membrane with a slip-resistant, trilaminate, woven polyethylene top surface. The bottom is composed of a unique fiberglass reinforcement embedded within a self-adhesive bituminous compound, and an easy-to-peel, split silicone release liner backing. It is available in thicknesses of 47 mil (1.2 mm) and 75 mm (3 in) selvedge.
Tremco AVC Max is asbestos free and exceeds the performance requirements for ASTM D1970. It is designed for application to concrete, metal, wood or thermal barriers for use as an air and vapour barrier membrane in a low slope roof membrane assembly. Tremco AVC Max may be applied at temperatures as low as 4.4°C (40°F), and can be left exposed for up to 60 days.
