The advanced AlphaGuard™ MT system is a single-component, moisture-triggered roofing and waterproofing system that can be used in new construction or to restore or replace built-up, MB, coatings and other kinds of roofing systems on a variety of decks. With its low odor, ease of application (watch the video below) and rapid curing, the AlphaGuard MT system is excellent for use in highly sensitive areas, such as hospitals and schools, and in roof areas where access is difficult. The AlphaGuard® MTS BC is a one-part, moisture triggered, polyurethane roof coating that is used with polyester or fiberglass mat reinforcement. The moisture triggered cure means that AlphaGuard MTS BC resists foaming, blisters and pinholes as well as washing off; curing is uniform. As a single component product, there is no blending of multiple components.
Versatile AlphaGuard MTS Base Coat (BC) can be used in a variety of projects -- acceptable roof surfaces/substrates include single ply, concrete, modified bitumen and smooth BUR -- as well as rooftop and IRMA restorations and with vegetative roof systems. AlphaGuard MTS BC has low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content, is low odor, and can be used in difficult access areas.
AlphaGuard® MTS Top Coat
The AlphaGuard® MTS TC is a one-part, moisture triggered, polyurethane roof coating that is used with polyester or fiberglass mat reinforcement. The moisture triggered cure means that AlphaGuard MTS TC resists foaming, blisters and pinholes as well as washing off; curing is uniform. As a single component product, there is no blending of multiple components.
Versatile AlphaGuard MTS Top Coat (TC) is used as a surfacing over the AlphaGuard MTS Base Coat and reinforcement. It supports a variety of projects -- acceptable roof surfaces/substrates include single ply, concrete, modified bitumen and smooth BUR -- as well as rooftop and IRMA restorations and with vegetative roof systems. The high gloss white, reflective surface can help lower rooftop temperatures, reduce energy use and increase a roof's lifespan.
AlphaGuard® Glass Mat
AlphaGuard® Glass Mat is a medium fine fiber, rapid wetting chopped strand mat.
The durable, long lasting AlphaGuard Glass Mat is used as a reinforcement for AlphaGuard systems, resulting in excellent performance as a roof restoration system for use over smooth BUR or selected single ply systems and a variety of decks. This durable, long lasting reinforcement provides additional strength, stability, and durability throughout the service life of the system.
AlphaGuard® C-Prime
AlphaGuard® C-Prime is a 100% solids, two component, epoxy penetrating primer that is used to prime concrete blocks, decks, walls, parapets and barriers prior to application of AlphaGuard BIO and MT/MTS systems

Fire Test Lab
Our ultimate goal is keep building occupants safe. To validate protection in the case of fire, Tremco has an in-house fire test laboratory capable of testing products to ASTM E108 and UL 790 criteria. In fact, it’s the only roofing material manufacturer's test laboratory at which UL will confer a UL 790 classification.
