AVC Max Membrane
Self-Adhered, Fiberglass-Reinforced SBS Modified Membrane for Air and Vapour Control
Developed for use in Canada, Tremco AVC Max is designed as an air and vapour barrier membrane in a low slope roof membrane assembly. It can be applied to concrete, metal, wood or thermal barriers at temperatures as low as 4.4°C (40°F) and can be left exposed for up to 60 days.
The Tremco AVC Max Membrane is a SBS modified asphalt membrane with a slip-resistant, trilaminate, woven polyethylene top surface. The bottom is composed of a unique fiberglass reinforcement embedded within a self-adhesive bituminous compound, and an easy-to-peel, split silicone release liner backing. It is available in thicknesses of 47 mil (1.2 mm) and 75 mm (3 in) selvedge.
