Tremco Roofing’s VR Ultralite Plus is an enhanced version of our lightest system, the VR Ultralite, building on the benefits of the VR Ultralite while boosting system performance with a robust layer of mineral wool and growing media. The VR Ultralite Plus is excellent for retrofit projects that have budgetary or structural limitations but also require their vegetated roof to help manage stormwater.

The system features:

• A heavy-duty percolation layer that provides a clear drainage path and prevents root rot, helping protect the plants.
• A robust layer of mineral wool with an excellent water retention-to-weight ratio.
• 2” of growing media with necessary nutrients and moisture for the health of the vegetation.
• Desert succulent plantings installed via fully mature pre-vegetated mats for an instant green effect. Standard and custom vegetated blends are available.
