AlphaGrade Top Coat is used to restore gravel-surfaced, built-up roofing (BUR) systems; it is applied above both AlphaGrade, which secures gravel to the roof, and the AlphaGrade Base Coat.  This combination provides three layers of waterproofing protection to aging but still functional gravel-surfaced roofs, so the roof does not need to be replaced. The highly reflective, white surface lowers rooftop temperatures, resulting in less stress and potentially reduced energy use.  With virtually no smell, AlphaGrade Top Coat is perfect for use in sensitive environments such as schools, hospitals, occupied buildings, etc.

Composition:

AlphaGrade Top Coat is a two-component, bio-based, polyurethane liquid applied product.  Its high amount of bio-based content makes it both sustainable and environmentally responsible.  The high solids content results in thicker dry film compared to lower solids products.  AlphaGrade Top Coat is also low VOC (0g/L).
